Moon Sweepers Platforms and Co-op: What Is Confirmed

Check the official Windows listing, 16-player online co-op limit and version notes without confusing PC support with an announced console release.

Xbox and PS5: look for an official announcement

As checked on 27 October 2026, the official Steam listing specifies Windows requirements. The official listing and patch announcements reviewed here do not announce an Xbox or PS5 edition or release date. A search phrase containing a console name is not a release announcement.

The 1.0.4 patch mentions startup fixes for older Proton versions on Steam Deck/Linux. This does not establish full controller support, a performance target or compatibility on every configuration.

Playing together

The store describes single-player and online crew sessions of up to 16 players. That is an advertised limit, not a stability test by this site. The 1.0.3 announcement explicitly required matching builds for that version.

Before diagnosing co-op behavior, compare the host, world and installed build. Read shared upgrades for the purchasing rule and J.O.O.N.A.S checks for automation symptoms.

AMD crashes and graphics version

The 1.0.4 notes change the Windows default to DirectX 11 to address AMD crashes. They document -force-d3d12 for opting into DirectX 12. This rendering choice is not a guaranteed crash fix; preserve save backups before experimenting.

Source and scope

Sources are the official store and developer patches, checked on the date above. No console, Steam Deck, Linux or 16-player session was tested here. Recheck official announcements before deciding which platform to buy for.
